Updates to Firefox Accounts and Firefox Hello Beta

The latest Firefox update is now available. This release includes minor updates to personalize your Firefox Account and adds a new functionality to Firefox Hello Beta. Firefox Accounts provides access to services like Firefox Sync to let you take browsing data such as passwords, bookmarks, history and open tabs across your desktop and mobile devices. The latest update to Firefox Accounts allows you to personalize your Firefox Account profile in Firefox for Windows, Mac, Linux and Android by adding a photo.

CompFest 2015

CompFest is an annual event that held by students from University of Indonesia, Depok. Mozilla Indonesia Community already participate and join many times on previous CompFest events. This event already grow with interesting new ideas, compared to previous years. CompFest using a Playground concept, which people can come and play games at booths. And Mozilla Indonesia Community also open a booth there. If people come and play games, they can get points, which they can redeem with swags as reward.

Mozilla Webmaker, Meet the World

Mozilla is excited to announce that Webmaker for Android emerges from beta today. You can download the new version of our free, open source app from Google Play at mzl.la/webmaker. Mozilla built Webmaker to empower first-time smartphone users and mobile-first Web users as active participants on the Web. Too often, individuals around the world experience a “read-only” mobile Web, passively consuming content and unable to actively contribute. But when consumers become creators, they’re introduced to social and economic opportunity. And when everyone can contribute equally, the Web becomes a better place.

10th Anniversary Mozilla Developer Network

Mozilla Developer Network (MDN) is an open and collaborative learning platform for Web technologies (HTML, CSS and JavaScript). MDN goes beyond providing essential coding information; it addresses developers’ needs through its supporting community of volunteer developers, with the aim of inspiring ideas, encouraging collaboration and ultimately, fostering the growth of the open Web. Hujan nyaris tak turun di bulan Juni dan kami bisa mengadakan lagi #MozBelajar untuk mereka yang ingin belajar tool-tool Webmaker. Kali ini, kami menggunakan tempat yang lebih luas, di Jakarta Digital Valley, yang berada di tengah kota Jakarta. Dari lantai 6 Menara Multimedia, para peserta bisa melihat pemandangan kota sambil mencari inspirasi makes seperti apa yang ingin mereka buat.

Meski AdaCamp Tiada Lagi

Beberapa hari yang lalu sebuah kabar mengejutkan tiba di inbox email saya. Sepucuk email yang menyatakan bahwa AdaCamp, sebuah acara yang diselenggarakan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi perempuan dalam teknologi terbuka dan kebudayaan (open technology and culture), tidak akan diselenggarakan lagi, setelah selama tiga tahun (2012-2014) diselenggarakan sekurangnya dua kali berturut-turut.
